Seems to be most people's favorite, and so it should be: it is a fine example
of how you can use such a small screen to its fullest potential creating real
gameplay.
Junior goes from the bottom left of the screen to the top left, he can jump
and climb vines which comes in very handy since he has to avoid the snapjaws
and the birds, once on top he has to wait for the key to swing to the left and
then jump and get it, one quarter of the Donkey Kong Senior's cage will be removed,
after repeating this another three times, the cage is completely gone and Senior
actually smiles.
A nice extra is the fruit which can be pulled of by jumping to it which can hit birds and snapjaws for extra points, when you time it right you can hit two snapjaws and one bird at one time!
Too bad we're all fed up with Donkey Kong these days because of every monthly new incarnation Nintendo has to release nowadays, he used to be cute... Notice that the directional 'up' button only has one function in the whole game: when Junior climbs the vine to the right. It is voted the least likely button to wear out...
