'Triple vision' seems to suggest that there are 3 screens, but this is not the case. Two screens on top of each other are present. In the first stage you play the top and lower screen at the same time, the second stage requires you to flip the top screen up and you play that same screen, but since it's transparent you play it upside down now, with different previously unused sprites, the third stage is simply played on the bottom screen, again using previously unused sprites on the same screen. The game 'knows' what screen is up because of a little clip on the top screen and 'kindly' indicates if you should flip the screen up or down, refusing to continue before you do so. The sound is the most annoying that I've ever heard to accompany an LCD game but can luckily be turned off.
As mentioned in the first stage you use the two screens on top of each other, which works a little better than in Zaxxon because the physical distance between the 2 screens is little bit bigger, it's much easier to see on which screen you are. You control a spaceship and defend your mothership behind you. On the top screen you are attacked by another ship which is firing at you you have to shoot that ship a number of times to be able to continue to the next stage. At the bottom screen you are being attacked by flying robots which want to fire at your mothership. Your mothership is always in the opposite screen of your fighter. So if you move your fighter to the lower screen to shoot the oncoming robot, your mothership moves to the upper screen, leaving him vulnerable to the missiles fired by the attacking fighter in that screen. After hitting the fighter a few times, Gundam, your flying robot disembarks from your ship and has a shoot-out with another robot, this is played at the top screen which has to be turned over so that you now play it upside-down, looking at it from the other side. The game pauses until you've flipped the screen over and signals this by an exceptionally annoying beep. After hitting the robot a few times, they continue the fight in the third stage in the bottom screen, fighting each other with swords, standing at the left you can get cut in two by your opponent if you don't block his sword with yours, standing at the right you can cut him in 2 but he can also block, when you are in the right position you are being shot at by a fighter at the top as well. Although they made a lot of effort to make the design of this game original it turned out to be quite boring..
