In the first screen you can play the cop who can hide in two positions behind
a bus, where he can't be shot by the thief in the building. You can only fire
at the thief after you've jumped, which makes you also vulnerable for the thief's
bullets. At the left and right of the bus you can jump and shoot as well at
the thief but are unprotected from his bullets if you are on the ground as well,
at these positions you can also tell an occasionally appearing dog with dynamite
in his mouth to run away to the thief, if you don't do this the dynamite will
be thrown at you forcing you to jump or be blown up. The bomb always blows up
after 50 seconds and you should make sure it is not on your side at the time,
because jumping won't help then. Getting hit by a bullet costs you one point,
being blown up two.
When
you play from the thief's point of view, everything is exactly the same but the
roles are reversed and you shoot at the bus from within the building. The game
ends if either of the two wins 15 times. The shooting and jumping for the dynamite
is very well balanced, preventing the game from getting boring because someone
can hide behind an object for as long as he wants. The background from the two
points of view create a very nice credible effect of a shoot-out. Great fun to
play, especially against a human opponent.
