A fantastic game, which is still fun to play today. It actually has a lot to do with soccer. You play with two teammates against three computer opponents apart from the two goalkeepers. You start the game on the side of the opponent with their goal visible at the top. You can your players in all directions and can pass to your teammate, you always control the player with the ball. Obviously you have to get past the opponents to reach their goal. They can steal the ball from you if you 'touch' one the players, it is however possible to run by them if your fast enough. They can also intercept the ball when you pass it to your teammate and an opponent happens to stand in between. Once in front of the goal, you can only score by pressing 'up' to get your other player at the goal as well so that you can pass at him so that he can shoot and score, if you shoot yourself the goalkeeper will always stop the ball. It's incredible that they even took the trouble of implementing offside in this little game! When you pass the ball to your teammate in front of you and there is no opponent on that same level. You will lose the ball because of offside! When the opponent is in possession of the ball they try to move to your goal by first moving down the screen after which the screen 'scrolls' down, they start at the top of the screen again and your goal is now visible at the bottom while theirs has disappeared. They can score much easier than you without having to pass to another player. You can try to stop it with the goalkeeper which is under your control now. The game is over when the opponent scores three goals, the object is to score as many goals as you can in that time. It's a pity that they didn't include something like a league where you have to win a match in a certain time...a bit too much to ask from a game in those days I guess...
